The Christmas concerts by the Rajaton vocal ensemble have, over the years, become something of a byword. Their atmospheric music and brilliant unaccompanied singing bring the spirit of Christmas alive at concert halls the length and breadth of Finland. This time Rajaton join forces with the Kymi Sinfonietta. More than 20 years have passed since the first concert, and the ensemble is still keenly-awaited and requested. The programme will include not only some of the best-loved Christmas carols but also something new and surprising. The conductor is Jonas Rannila, one of the most sought-after young conductors in Finland at the moment.
