Nostalgic classics and action-packed family films are a must for many at Christmas, and we now have a chance to enjoy both – some familiar and others less so – under the baton of dynamic conductor Marjo Riihimäki. The performances by a choir of music theatre students at the Kotka Region Music Institute raise the temperature even further. The music was either composed specifically for the cinema or chosen from existing works to add spice to the programme. Tunes from The Snowman, Frozen, From All Of Us To All Of You, Home Alone and many other classics find a place in the hearts of new generations again and again.
