FOLK FLING

Providing a stimulating foretaste of spring is the Frigg folk music ensemble led by Janne Nisonen. The world music media have playfully coined the perfect word to describe Frigg’s distinctive style: Nordgrass. The group fuses its deep Nordic roots with western folk and bluegrass flavours to form a unique, unmistakable sound, tonight combining with a large orchestra in a sparkling, high-energy show fine-tuned to perfection.
