Tonight we join forces with conductor-tenor Topi Lehtipuu, the Somnium vocal ensemble and three soloists for a spectacular evening of drama and dance. Representing ballet is Stravinsky’s Apollon Musagète, a work of classical themes, characters and dances. Our operatic gems are plucked from works by Rameau, an orchestral genius cleverly drawing on different operatic genres, and the always-colourful Stravinsky. The Little Suite by Claude Debussy in turn looks to dance, creating relaxed and beautiful moods.
