Why do the music and arias of Mozart continue to speak to us over 200 years since they were composed? This concert will try to answer that question with examples of some of his most moving operatic arias covering the emotional spectrum from A to Z. The soloists are two young singers well on the way to fame: Polish soprano Magdalena Lucjan, who recently won the international NEUE STIMMEN singing competition, and Slovenian tenor Žiga Čopi. The concert has been curated by our Artistic Partner Topi Lehtipuu, who will also present it, with texts both by him and Anu Arasu (UK).
