Kymi Sinfonietta has published three praised recordings with the recording company Alba. The first, \u201cKlami Rhapsodie\u201d, was published in 2002, consisting of music by Uuno Klami, Eero Kesti, and Toivo Kuula. \u201cT\u00e4yttyneiden toiveiden maa\u201d \u2013 the second recording published in 2004 \u2013 is an opera composed by Jukka Linkola to the text of Toivo Pekkanen. The third album, Kymi Scenes, was published in 2007 and it consists of music by Uuno Klami.
\nIn 2017, Kymi Sinfonietta published a book-recording \u201cHilla ja Liisi\u201d in co-operation with distinguished music educators, Alba Records, and book publishing company Teos. Recently, Kymi Sinfonietta has recorded Kalevi Aho\u2019s second violin concerto with violinist Elina V\u00e4h\u00e4l\u00e4 as well as Aho\u2019s second cello concerto with cellist Jonathan Roozeman. The album will be published by the renowned BIS label in early 2023. <\/p>\n
Pertsa ja Kilu \u2013 The movie (2021, Taavi Vartia Film & TV)
\nKymi Sinfonietta performed the music in Taavi Vartia\u2019s movie Pertsa ja Kilu, which premiered in July of 2021. The film is about the adventures of a boy duo from Kotka, and the music is composed by Panu Aaltio, an internationally praised movie composer. The music was recorded in a studio built into the Kotka Concert Hall.<\/p>\n
