It is a great pleasure for us to welcome the inspiring, charismatic, award-winning Alexandra Dariescu back to Kymenlaakso. Ten years have passed since she greatly impressed us at her debut with us, and her visit this time is sure not to leave anyone cold. We also welcome Tianyi Lu, winner of the Sir Georg Solti and Guido Cantelli conducting competitions, who cherishes the ability to express communion and compassion in music. The programme also abounds in radiant energy: the virtuosic A-minor piano concerto by Clara Schumann, the lyrical Andante quasi recitativo for strings by Elfrida Andr\u00e9e with which the concert begins, and the closing Serenade by Johannes Brahms.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
