Both the Kymi Sinfonietta and our audiences occupy a very special place in his heart. With him he brings an impressive \u201cYasuo\u201d programme chosen to bring out our profound understanding of music not only of the Classical and Romantic eras but also of the captivating Japanese sound world, complete with forest theme. With us as the soloist in Mendelssohn\u2019s <em>second piano concerto<\/em> brimming with optimism is one of Finland\u2019s most successful pianists, Henri Sigfridsson, who is also a piano professor at the acclaimed Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen.
