There is already a hint of spring in the air, and these painterly musical images draw their shades from the beauty of nature, the fire of emotion and playful rhythms. Matei Gheorghiu\u2019s piano concerto led him to victory in both the 5th<br \/>\nInternational Uuno Klami Composition Competition and the audience vote; the jury described the work as energetic and fresh. The soloist is the dazzlingly virtuosic Joonas Ahonen.
