Our Artistic Partner Jukka Perko leads the Kymi Sinfonietta in a concert of big band standards in zippy arrangements. As the icing on the cake, we also have a little Grieg and Tchaikovsky in the spirit of rhythm music. The five-star arrangements are by Artu Takalo, Sampo Kasurinen, Ville Vannemaa and Artturi Rönkä. As Perko puts it: “The concert will brilliantly highlight the Kymi Sinfonietta’s astounding ability to venture out of its safety zone into new surroundings.” A feel-good concert sure to go with a swing!
