For his second concert of the season, artistic partner Nathanaël Iselin presents a musical menu inspired by his personal favourites. The programme is built around the rich colours and subtle moods of the French musical tradition. The evening encounters death in dancing form and journeys into worlds of imagined love. Debussy’s four-movement suite brings moments of delicacy and luminous beauty, including the beloved Clair de lune. The concert concludes with a vibrant fantasy based on Gershwin’s opera Porgy and Bess, bringing the evening’s many shades and flavours to a spirited close.
