To honour its 25th anniversary, the Kymi Sinfonietta welcomes an old friend: Yasuo Shinozaki, our Artistic Director from 2007 to 2014. With him he is bringing one of the best-known works in the orchestral repertoire, Beethoven’s Eroica Symphony.

As the icing on the cake, we also have a little Grieg and Tchaikovsky in the spirit of rhythm music. The five-star arrangements are by Artu Takalo, Sampo Kasurinen, Ville Vannemaa and Artturi Rönkä. As Perko puts it: “The concert will brilliantly highlight the Kymi Sinfonietta’s astounding ability to venture out of its safety zone into new surroundings.” A feel-good concert sure to go with a swing!
