Between Two Lights is a music and poetry work that takes the listener on a journey across the inner landscapes of the heart. Together with the ensemble Avara and actor Hannu-Pekka Björkman, Jukka Perko has created a work where the clear skies and waters of the North meet. Reflections on the beauty and fragility of human beings hover above them. The concert features words and sparks from some of Finland’s most beloved poets: Katri Vala, Kirsi Kunnas, Eeva Kilpi, Pentti Saarikoski, Lauri Viita and many others give words to the wordless – the mystery of love and
life. The day and night are bright.
